- My name is Donna Clair. I live and paint in Tesuque, New Mexico, a small village just north of Santa Fe. I moved from Chicago to the high desert country of the Southwest in 1967. After living in Santa Fe for many years,I lived the adventure of a lifetime on a horse ranch near the outskirts of the small Hispanic village of Truchas high in the Sangre de Cristo mountains . For the past twenty-five years I have lived and painted in the beautiful Taos Valley, moving to a studio in Tesuque in 2013.
